Fleur de Lisse new cellars

December 19, 2018: Vignobles Jade, expands by acquiring 17 hectares from Vignobles JJ Nouvel. This property is certified organic. Thus, with 27 hectares Vignobles Jade reach a sufficient size to carry out the biodynamic exploitation of a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru.

The Teycheney Family has been resolutely committed for two years to the conversion of all its vineyards into biodynamics, operational in 2020. It is a true vision of the future for the Bordeaux vineyards of the 21st century, which is in line with history and meets the wishes of new consumers. The pioneering work initiated more than 20 years ago by Catherine Papon-Nouvel at the helm of the family property JJ. Nouvel will allow Vignobles Jade to join this dynamic.

The expansion of the vineyard also involves innovation and the complete modernisation of the winery, which has been entrusted to the Bordeaux architect Thomas Chlebowsky of the Laabo Agency.
