Château Fleur de Lisse 2018 – Saint Emilion Grand Cru
The nose is fruity, racy and offers concentration and a small elegance. It reveals notes of ripe blackcurrant, ripe blackberry and more lightly ripe wild raspberry associated with touches of black cherry, liquorice as well as fine tips of flowers and very discreet cardamom spikes. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers freshness, tension, a nice fine grain, a very fine richness (in the background), a racy minerality and a mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackcurrant, juicy blackberry and lightly ripe juicy / ripe raspberry associated with touches of violet, blueberry, licorice as well as fine tips of cardamom, tea and very discreet points of caramelization (in the background). The tannins are fine. Fine taste on the end of the mouth. Presence of fine tips of toasted, toasted almond and zan on persistence.
